Meghan and Blair recently celebrated their one year anniversary a couple weekends ago (which shows how far behind I am on blogging) – Happy Anniversary to the lovely couple!! Meghan and Blair got married in a church, and then they also hosted another amazing celebration the following day with their Becker Farms Wedding in the Buffalo, NY area. My amazingly talented friend and Buffalo Photographer Jacqueline Mix was my second shooter and partner in crime for the day! Apologies for the lateness, but their gorgeous Becker Farms wedding absolutely needed to be blogged!!
The ladies spent the morning together, assembling bouquets and favors, and getting all of Meghan’s final touches together.
Meghan and Blair had their first look at the hotel which allowed the group to take some formal photos at an offsite location, the Ruins. We also finished up group photos at Becker farms prior to the ceremony which left plenty of time for celebrating later!
Becker Farms provided a gorgeous backdrop for the wedding with so many thoughtful DIY details! They also hosted a late night campfire celebration for the group which made "S'mores Packets" a perfect wedding favor. The Officiant Mike delivered a hilarious ceremony that had everyone laughing throughout! The couple’s fur-baby, Ness, even got to be included in the festivities and photos!
The evening wrapped up with more love and laughter. The theme of the speeches from friends and siblings seemed to be some friendly ribbing for the couple, saying "FINALLY" they got married! And throughout the night everyone was joking "so where are you getting married tomorrow?" which seemed fair at the time considering the full wedding weekend extravaganza. Everyone danced the night away and then gathered at the campfire to share more hilarious anecdotes about the couple and sing some campfire songs.
It was a perfect wedding weekend filled with amazing families and friends on both sides. I will forever be grateful to Meghan and Blair, they are some of my earliest clients who believed in me and my work before I even had a completed portfolio to show them. I feel so lucky to have had the privilege to be a part of their day and capture such wonderful moments!!
Wishing you both many more years of love and happiness!! And if you decide to have some more weddings, I hope I will get to join the celebration again!
